I am an excessive, and obsessive person. This is particularly true when it comes to food. I go through, what I call "Food Phases", meaning, that I find a particular edible something or other, then eat it all the time for a while. I do, however, eventually fall out of love with whatever I happen to be in love with. This greatly angers my mother, who having noticed this trend of my personality and eating habits, becomes greatly irked since I somehow always end up hating the food that I had previously been obsessed with, directly after she stocks up on it. The current love of my edible life, is oatmeal. Yes, I am confessing my great admiration for Quaker Oats- I've had the Steel Cut Oats too, but I am a dedicated Quakers girl at the moment. I have oatmeal at least once a day- often twice a day, and on the weekends, I will sometimes have it for all my three meals. I typically have 1/2 cup (dry) and I ALWAYS make it on the stove top; I am opposed to using the microwave. (Did you know that when the same amount of dry oatmeal is prepared in the microwave, the end result is a bigger bowl of oatmeal than when it is made on the stovetop? I don't know why, but it just happens!) With my oatmeal, I like to have
Sarabeth's Blood Orange Marmalade , I used to like my oatmeal with honey, but that has almost twice the calories of this marmalde, and 3 more grams of sugar per tablespoon. I was inspired to write this article, when, upon coming home a couple nights ago, I found this box waiting for me...

(This is the box, I looks bigger is person! It should last me for a while...)
(I've never had any of Sarabeth's other flavors, but I looked at the list online, and they all sound really really good)
