Earth Day.

Today was Earth Day '09.  Today the power of Oprah was proven to me.  I say this as a great lover of her show.  I caught only the second half of the show, but I did happen to hear about discounts being offered to Oprah views from SIGG and To-Go Ware, and thus, I sprinted up 3 flights of stairs in delight, for I wanted to save 20% on eco-friendly goodies.  Now, I logged on to Oprah.com and found the links to the sites.  Yet, they weren't loading, and finally I was told that the server had been getting too many hits.  Its been about 15 minutes since the announcement, and the sites have loaded on my computer, but they are crawling at a slow pace, and I can't get farther than the homepage.  This is disappointing, because I really want a discount on some reuseable cutlery, because it is my eco goal of the year to completely eliminate my paper/plastic bag use, as well as my use of disposable silverware.  I already carry around chop sticks, but unfortunately, chopsticks aren't great for eating my favorite spring/summer treat: Tasti D-Lite.

From To-Go Ware: 

To-Go Ware has a few varieties of these utensil cases.  The utensils are bamboo (a very renewable resource), and the chopsticks are great to include since they aren't taken away if you're traveling and have to go through airport security.)  Also, this particular set has a clip, meaning you can clip it on to your SIGG water bottle!
