Follow Up: Pushing Daisies

I have been going on the ABC episode viewer for the past 2 weeks in pursuit of a new episode of Pushing Daisies.  According to Reuters, the show has wrapped production!  Although an ABC spokesperson has said that a decision about the fate of the show has not yet been made, I do fear that the show may have a premature departure.  This is altogether upsetting, as I love this series, and I love everything about it.  It also would be leaving with a very inconclusive ending; you just want to know what happens next.  For some reason, shows that end before their time always seem to haunt me, I don't know-like Joan of Arcadia, for instance.  That show was so fascinating, questioning God, and where he may be, and speaking to a teenage girl (plus Amber Tamblyn was great), when I learned that there was no third season, I was terribly let down.  Ah, why do the good and interesting stories always disappear before the mundane?
